Pictures from our new camera

Cute boys! We have been enjoying the weather when it is warm. Ethan loves to go to the play ground and always hates to leave. Poquito loves the warm weather too and loves to lay in the sun and sleep. Oliver just had his six month appointment and he now weighs 15 lbs 7 and 1/2 oz. He didn't like his shots and he cried and cried till he fell asleep poor baby.

Life goes on

Ethan is now a little bit happier now that he has the foam out of his nose and a heavier dose of hydrocortisone for his itchy skin. He is still a cranky two year old but at least he seems more comfortable in his own skin. He has fun playing with his cousin Colton, they love all the cars and trucks and sometimes they think they need to have the same one. But that is little boys for ya. Oliver looks at them play and you can tell he wants to get in on the action. He rolls all over the place and tries to get on his knees. He can't wait to get big and play with his brother.
Kelly finished this semester, we are still waiting for some grades to come back but he is hoping that they will be all A's. He has been working really hard. He has to take one more class this summer to have his associates degree plus one more to get financial aid. So the extra class he is taking is a screen printing class, so that will be fun and a good opportunity for us to get our Disneyland shirts printed. And I am taking one day at a time, being mother, cook, cleaner, wife, etc. etc.

Eventful day

So we had the whirlwind earlier and then an earthquake. It felt really weird, it swayed the house back and forth. My heart was racing and Ethan yelled "Mommy!" I went to check on him but he was fine. Then I was beginning to think that maybe I just imagined it, thankfully other people felt it too and they had a story on the news, so wahoo I'm not crazy. Whew what a day. It makes me feel like packing a seventy two hour kit.

The Whirlwind

We were outside today enjoying the nice sunshine. It was calm and a light breeze was blowing. When suddenly to our surprise a strong gust of wind came blowing past our house and in an instant it switched directions and stated to blow the other way and we found ourselves in a whirlwind. It swirled around our front yard and Ethan's large inflatable ball was caught up in it and the wind carried it over the fence. Thinking it would stop there, I just stated to walk after it. But quickly realized the whirlwind didn't want to let go of it. Next thing you know I am running down the street after it. It went around in circles so I would run to one side of the street to the other in an attempt to catch it. In the end I looked like a maniac and was laughing my head off. Finally it landed in some grass and the whirlwind released it. I ran over and lifted it triumphantly in the air and started to walk back to Kelly and the boys who were following behind. So in the end Ethan was very happy that I saved his ball. THE END.

My silly boys

Ethan likes to play in the dirt. We have a hard time keeping him out of it. He sure has fun though! We got almost all of the yard work done when we had the warm spell. Now it just needs to warm up so I can plant my garden. We also need to paint the house so hopefully we can save up so that when its warm enough we can do that. Still don't know what color we are going to do but we think a dark color might look good.

Oliver loves to chew on his fingers! LOL! So cute!
My boys enjoying my home cooking! Mmm black bean soup!

Ethan fell asleep on the couch and he looked so cute! My sleeping angel!

Finally Updating

So things have been goin along. I have been busy with sewing as always. I made a prom dress for Kelly's sister Kallie, and with the left over fabric I made one for the youngest, Katie. So Cute! On Katie's I beaded a pattern around the neck with silver beads and it turned out really nice. I also made myself a skirt out of the fabric Sarah gave me. There is enough left that I think I will make Ethan and Oliver matching outfits out of it. And if I am ambitious enough I will make Kelly a tie. Matching Family! So we'll see how far I get with that.

Bye bye binky!

Hurray! Today marks one week without the binky! Last Friday I asked Ethan if he wanted me to throw it away and he nodded yes, so I asked him if he wanted to throw it away and he said yes and ran to put it in the trash! Of course when nap time came he wanted it and cried himself to sleep but after that he was okay! Finally free from binky's. Oliver won't take one so that's the end of that.

Lookin' cool

Ethan has really begun to love posing for the camera. He loves to say cheese and candy when we take his picture.
I think he looks like he should be in Newses, that or a gangster. Either way he sure is one cute kid!

Cheese! The many faces of Ethan

Christmas '09

This year Christmas was very exciting. We got up and when Ethan got up we went to open presents he starts coughing and throws up, poor boy. So after that he was good and he loved opening his presents. He especially liked his pillow Sponge Bob which he likes to call bob bob. Oliver's first Christmas was not as eventful as his brothers.

Ethan is already trying to fit into his daddy's shoes.
