New Baby Boy
The delivery went very well, getting to the hospital was the rough part. Traffic always seems to go slow when your in a hurry. Anyway, once I was ready I pushed twice and there he was! So little and cute. Welcome to the family Oliver!

Flu Shots
Today Ethan and I went with Diana and Colton to go get the H1N1 flu shot. It was pretty crazy how many people showed up. We arrived around 6:30 am and the line was already about a thousand people or more deep. It was cold, I only had my sweater to keep me warm and walking Ethan around. It was amazing to see so many people, I couldn't see the end of the line. So the place opened at 7:00 am and the line slowly crawled forward. Luckily I had planned on a long time so I had plenty of food and drinks for Ethan and me. So when all was said and done we finally made it to the building and got our flue shots getting out at 11:15 am. That was the longest time I have ever stood in line before, but now I can say that we've had the experience of a mass vaccination. Quite the adventure. Don't ever want to do it again! At least we missed all the drama that was happening in the front of the building later in the day when there was an accident and so many cars violating parking rules and so on, that they said occurred on the news.

So it has been a little depressing lately. I spent tons of time making little girl dresses to try to sell at a yard sale. In the end I had made eleven dresses in about four days. But we had no luck when we tried to sell them. Maybe people don't think 'hand-made' is something worth having, or is of a poor quality compared to store bought clothes. Or maybe they thought five dollars is to much to pay for some thing brand new at a yard sell. So anyway you could say I was a little disappointed. I really tried hard to help bring some needed income in but it was of no use and that's what upsets me most. You can't make a descent dollar doing something you love, oh no, I guess the only way I can make an income for our family is by watching others children. So I guess that's what will have to happen after the baby comes. I guesss what I've learned from this is that you can't expect good things all the time no matter how hard you work. Oh well such is life. So at least I can give the dresses away, which is what I normally do anyway, and to those who find no home, they will be shipped off to D.I. where anything goes.
Please no comments, this is me just ranting!

Poquito is going to be a devil for Halloween this year. He didn't like how the horns covered his ears so he just sat there and didn't move. Poor dog, but we still like to dress him up!

It's a boy!
Yep it's a boy! We went into the doctors office and got to see our new addition to the family. When they were showing the head, Ethan kept saying head, head, head! After a while he got tired and wanted to be on the table with me, basically he was being himself, a mama's boy. When we told him it was finally time to go he yelled 'Go!' Every kept saying how cute Ethan was in the waiting room when he would babble at them. Silly boy. So we're excited to have another boy to keep Ethan company. He has had lots of practice with Colton so he should be a great big brother.
New cat
The cat likes to climb the tree and to be outside so for the most part so it is going to be an outside cat.

Don't cry over spilt salt
Ethan was being a trouble maker one day so I put him in his chair. When i turn back around he is dumping salt out of the salt shaker. I thought it was pretty funny so I started laughing which made Ethan cry. Poor baby, don't cry over spilt salt.

This is Ethan in his hospital clothes before he went in for surgery. He was having fun playing with the toys and didn't have a care in the world.
We took him in for surgery to fix a birth defect called hypospadia, about one in every one hundred boys are born with it. The doctor at primary's said he does the surgery about three times a week. So it is a pretty common defect. In case your wondering what defect it is, it is where the hole he pees through is in the wrong spot. So he was all ready for surgery and we walked him to the door and handed him off to a doctor and he was off as cool as could be. He didn't cry or anything when they took him. An hour and a half later he was out of surgery looking really out of it. All the nurses kept saying how cute he was.
So we were at the hospital from 7am to 12pm it was a very long day. The doctor warned us that he would announce his diaper changes for a few days and boy did he scream the first time, poor little boy. But now he is mostly healed and is looking good and he probly won't remember the ordeal.
